Deciding what to wear to that
special event needn't be stressful if you just follow a few simple
tips...
Ladies Who Lunch:
The luncheon dress might be called fashion's version of a watercress
and endive salad. It's perfect for a midday meal when the weather's
sticky, and it can be found at all the best restaurants.
Usually this dress comes in delicate
floral prints, though pin stripes are acceptable and a few abstract
designs have been known to sneak in. The idea is to stay crisp
and unruffled, or at least to appear that way.
Among the LWL (ladies
who lunch), many of these dresses are cut in a chemise style, loose
for coolness. But for some a belt of matching fabric or contrasting
leather adds that touch of self-confidence.
